The private Kunsthalle HGN is located not far from the family residence of the entrepreneur and collector Professor Hans Georg Näder on the edge of the Sulberg and offers a picturesque view over the historic old town of Duderstadt and the surrounding area. The workshop character of the 650 square metre exhibition hall sets a counterpoint to the classic “White Cube” and impresses with its austere charm. The exhibitions provide an insight into the HGN Collection, which focuses on international contemporary art and photography. Cuban artists and names such as Neo Rauch, Helmut Newton, Sigmar Polke, Martin Kippenberger and Yayoi Kusama are represented. Admission is free.
