At the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry researchers are studying how cells, organelles and biomolecules perform their different tasks. In order to research the nanocosmos of living cells more deeply, the Institute uses and develops a broad spectrum of methods, including high-resolution microscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, mass spectrometry and computer simulations.
