After five years of planning and construction, the PS.SPEICHER presents itself in a landmarked former grain storehouse dating from 1899. A unique exhibition has been created, 40 km north of Göttingen, on more than 6,500 m² of exhibition space, more than 400 exhibits tell the story of the history, present and future of motorised vehicles. However, the PS.SPEICHER is not a museum in the classical sense, but it is a place of experience and offers new impulses in the future through special exhibitions and changing productions. The ambitious exhibition concept as well as the structural implementation were professionally designed: The agency ö_konzept from Zwickau has designed, among others, the Transport Museum in Dresden and the Horch Museum in Zwickau on behalf of Audi AG. In the former Einbecker granary, ö_konzept was confronted with special challenges due to the structural conditions as well as the requirements of the protection of historical monuments in the interior design. Agency manager Matthias Kaluza and he team met these challenges with creative solutions.
